Two Florida Women Arrested After Four Children Allegedly Lived in Semi-Truck Cab for Years

Two Florida women, Keisha Epps, 51, and Tamra Marshon Stewart, 37, have been arrested after authorities alleged that four children had been living inside the cab of a semi-truck for nearly seven years.

According to police records, the children had reportedly been confined to the truck since approximately December 2019. Investigators allege that they were rarely permitted to go outside and were denied adequate access to education, medical care, hygiene, and appropriate living space.

Authorities also reported a concerning medical discovery involving one of the children. During a medical examination in May 2026, the child was reportedly diagnosed with a sexually transmitted infection (STI) that had allegedly gone untreated.

The investigation raised concerns about the children’s living conditions and their access to basic necessities over an extended period.

Epps and Stewart each face four counts of child neglect, with the charges corresponding to the four children.

The allegations remain subject to the legal process, and both defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court. Authorities have not indicated that the investigation has concluded.
