FBI Offers $25,000 Reward for Parolee Wanted in Two Fatal New York Shootings

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $25,000 for information leading to the arrest of 31-year-old Jesus Acosta, who is accused of involvement in two fatal shootings in New York that occurred roughly 48 hours apart.

According to authorities, the first shooting occurred around August 23 during a robbery at America’s Best Wings and Pizza in Brooklyn. MD Yousef, 44, an employee at the restaurant, was shot and killed.

Another employee was reportedly shot in the leg during the incident. He later said he played dead in an effort to avoid being shot again.

The second fatal shooting occurred around August 25 at a deli in the Bronx. Authorities identified the victim as 33-year-old Tayvon Shuler, who was shot during an alleged robbery and later died from his injuries.

Acosta, who is currently on parole, is wanted in connection with both incidents. The FBI’s New York field office announced the $25,000 reward as investigators continue searching for him.

The United Bodegas of America has reportedly offered an additional $10,000, potentially bringing the total reward to $35,000 for information that helps authorities locate and arrest Acosta.

Anyone with information about Acosta’s whereabouts is urged to contact law enforcement. The allegations against him have not been proven in court, and he remains presumed innocent unless convicted.
