Wisconsin Man Cited After Allegedly Tripping 9-Year-Old Football Player During Youth Game

A 41-year-old Milwaukee man has been cited for disorderly conduct after allegedly stepping onto the field and tripping a 9-year-old football player during a youth game in Wisconsin.

The incident occurred on August 22, 2026, during a game at Case High School in Mount Pleasant.

According to police, the man, who was reportedly a parent or supporter of the Milwaukee Colts, entered the field while a 9-year-old Case Eagles player was running toward the end zone. The man allegedly extended his leg, causing the boy to trip as he attempted to score a touchdown.

Video recorded by a spectator captured the incident, and the footage quickly went viral on social media.

Police stopped the man after he left the field. Authorities said he admitted to tripping the child and was subsequently issued a citation for disorderly conduct.

Police confirmed that the young player was not injured in the incident.

The unusual confrontation has drawn widespread attention online, particularly because it occurred during a youth sporting event involving children. The case remains subject to the legal process.
