IN LOVING MEMORY OF RHEAVYN NICHOL LUNSFORD: A BRIEF LIFE THAT LEFT AN EVERLASTING MARK OF LOVE

Though her time on Earth spanned only a few short months, RheaVyn Nichol Lunsford left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew and loved her. Born on February 21, 2026, she immediately became the centerpiece of her parents’ lives and a cherished little sister to her loving siblings. Her sudden passing on July 23, 2026, brought profound sorrow, yet her memory remains a shining beacon of pure joy, warmth, and innocence.

Affectionately called “Sweet Baby” by her mother, RheaVyn possessed a radiant smile that could light up any room. Her adorable chubby cheeks, delightful expressions, and cheerful personality brought immense comfort and happiness to her family, serving as a constant reminder of the pure, transformative power of a child’s love.

RheaVyn found her greatest comfort in the affectionate embrace of her brothers and sisters, who showered her with endless hugs, tenderness, and attention. She also shared a deeply special bond with her father; whenever he walked into the room, her face immediately lit up with a joyful grin that became one of the family’s most precious memories.

She is survived by her devoted parents, Raeshaun and Megan Boyd Lunsford; her beloved sisters KyMani, Laeoni, Remy, and SyMoore; her loving brothers Raeshaun Jr., Malakai, and Dominique; and her grandparents Corey and Kanda Boyd, Diane Lunsford, and Edward B. Lunsford Sr. She was reunited in heaven with her maternal grandmother, Shellie Adams.

A gathering for family and friends will take place during visitation from noon until 2 p.m. on Saturday, August 1, at Northside Baptist Church, followed immediately by funeral services at 2 p.m. and burial at Cedar Hill Cemetery.

While her family can no longer hold their precious little girl in their arms, they will carry her spirit, laughter, and light in their hearts every single day. She will forever be remembered as their beloved Sweet Baby—deeply loved, profoundly missed, and never forgotten.
