Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Brandi Glanville is sharing several diagnoses related to the facial parasite she has been undergoing treatment for.

In a video shared on Instagram on Tuesday, Sept. 8, Glanville, 53, addressed her ongoing health struggles and shared an update on her facial parasite.

In the video, Glanville began by explaining that the parasite in her face has since extended down her right arm.

“It used to only be here, but over the years that not being diagnosed properly, it has spread,” she explained. Now it goes down my right arm.”

In the subsequent clips, Glanville showed the large fungal ball in her face through tears.

“It’s hard as a rock, and it curves like this,” she said as she touched the fungal ball. “I’m so sick [of it] I just want to cut it out of my face.”

In the following clips, she shared a series of updates about a rash on the right side of her face.

“I’m finally ready to tell you what I’ve actually been fighting and to start sharing some of my worst moments leading up to finally getting diagnosed,” Glanville, 53, wrote in the caption. “I’ve been diagnosed with highly resistant ESBL Klebsiella and Enterobacter with biofilm, Coccidioidomycosis (Valley Fever), Demodex dermatitis and Mononucleosis.”

ESBL Klebsiella refers to a type of antibiotic-resistant bacteria, according to the Centers for Disease Control (CDC). Valley fever is a fungal infection, per Mayo Clinic.

Demodex are “a type of mite that lives in human hair follicles, usually on your face,” according to Cleveland Clinic.

She added that she has a “fungal ball” in her face that will be removed, and that she will be having “metals from old dental work out of my mouth, my breast implants need to come out, and I’m looking at 4–6 months of daily IV treatment.”

The reality star shared that the treatments she requires have cost between $3,300–$6,000 a month after health insurance, and that they have “not been easy.”

“I’m not able to work right now other than my podcast and I honestly don’t know how I’m going to do this mentally or financially,” she added. “I’m sharing some really bad moments and I know I don’t look good in these videos. Honestly, I don’t care. I feel terrible and this is what being sick looks like for me right now.”

She encouraged her followers to “be nice in the comments” since she is “already fighting enough.”

“I just want this s–t OUT of my body,” she concluded. “I want my health back. I want my life back. I want to feel like me again. I’ll be sharing more of what I’ve been going through, the treatments, the surgeries and hopefully eventually the other side of this. 🤍”

Glanville shared the diagnoses just a day after she posted an image from an ultrasound of the facial parasite. She shared she has been undergoing a series of IV infusions of Imipenem, a type of antibiotic used to treat severe bacterial infections, according to the Mayo Clinic.

Glanville has been documenting her ongoing health journey since July 2023. The reality star initially believed the issues were caused by something she ate while filming the Real Housewives Ultimate Girls Trip in Morocco. She later claimed that she could see and feel an unknown “parasite” moving within her face, saying it resembled “tiny bubbles bursting” on her skin, PEOPLE previously reported.

That year, she was diagnosed with stress-induced angioedema, which is a condition that caused severe facial swelling. In December 2024, she said she had spent “over $70,000” on treatment for the condition. Glanville later reported that she had “painful lumps” in her jawbone area, on the side and back of her neck, she revealed in a March 2025 X post.

In February 2026, Glanville announced that her disfigurement was caused by a parasite from her “ruptured” 18-year-old silicone breast implants, which caused her lymph nodes to become “clogged.” She revealed that it took 21 different doctors and $200,000 to pinpoint the root of her issues. Glanville has since had the implants removed, but claimed that the facial parasite stemmed from this incident.
