Criminal Investigation Into Death of 21-Year-Old Corinna Baker Closed After No Further Action for Suspect
The criminal investigation into the death of 21-year-old Corinna Baker has been closed after police reviewed the available evidence and post-mortem findings.
Corinna was found dead at Netpool Boat Yard, near the River Teifi in Cardigan, on November 15, 2025. She had reportedly been seen entering the area on the evening of November 13.
A 29-year-old man was arrested in connection with Corinna’s death, and the investigation was initially treated as a suspected murder case.

In the latest update issued by Dyfed-Powys Police on September 10–11, 2026, authorities confirmed that the criminal investigation had been concluded following a review of all available evidence and the results of the post-mortem examination.
Police also confirmed that the 29-year-old man would face no further action in connection with Corinna’s death.
However, the circumstances surrounding Corinna’s death have not yet been fully resolved. Her cause of death has not been publicly disclosed, and police have referred the case file to HM Coroner ahead of an inquest.

The upcoming inquest is expected to examine the circumstances and evidence surrounding Corinna’s death and may provide further information about what happened.
