A 911 CALL THAT ECHOES: REMEMBERING CLAYTON, HUNTER, AND CHASE

On June 15, 2023, in Clermont County, Ohio, an unspeakable tragedy shattered a family and left a community in deep mourning. Chad Doerman took the lives of his three young sons—Clayton, aged 7, Hunter, aged 4, and Chase, aged 3—inside the very home where they should have been safest.

Listening to the 911 audio recording from that horrific day serves as a haunting reminder of the event. On the tape, the young children can be heard crying while their mother screams frantically, urging them to run. Her voice carried the raw, desperate power of a mother trying to protect all her babies at once against an impossible horror. Though she was injured while trying to shield her children, she could not stop the violence.

The grief of a parent who heard her children in desperate need yet could not reach them in time is unimaginable. She lived through that terrifying moment, watched her sons die, and has had to wake up every single day since without them.

Yet, Clayton, Hunter, and Chase were far more than the tragic circumstances of their deaths. They were vibrant young boys full of laughter, energy, and silliness, cherished by a mother who loved them fiercely.
