A newly surfaced video shows Presley Gerber inside the Santa Monica sober-living facility just hours before his death — offering a rare glimpse into the final night of Cindy Crawford’s son’s life.

Presley, the 27-year-old son of Crawford and businessman Rande Gerber, died on September 20 after staying at Resolutions Living in Santa Monica. The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not yet released a final cause of death.

According to Page Six, the video was recorded by Presley himself around 10 p.m. Saturday, September 19.

In the footage, Presley appears inside his living quarters, filming the bedroom and parts of the property. The video was recorded roughly 12 hours before emergency responders pronounced him dead at 9:45 a.m. the following morning.

A Glimpse Into His Final Night

The footage has drawn renewed attention because it provides one of the last known visual records of Presley before his death.

Page Six reported that Presley was wearing a white tank top, glasses and a silver chain as he filmed himself and showed parts of the residence.

TMZ separately reported that sources believed Presley appeared to be under the influence in the video. That characterization comes from sources cited by the outlet and has not been established as an official medical finding.

The video therefore raises questions about what happened during the hours between its recording and the emergency response the following morning.

It does not, by itself, establish what substance Presley may have taken, when he took it, or what ultimately caused his death.

Presley Had Been Open About His Struggles

Presley had previously spoken publicly about addiction and mental-health struggles.

In one of his final social-media posts, he discussed undergoing an ibogaine treatment as part of his efforts to address addiction. He described being frightened before the treatment and expressed hope that it would be the last time he needed to undergo it.

His sister, Kaia Gerber, had also spoken publicly about her brother’s long-running struggles shortly before his death, describing him as unusually open about difficult experiences and saying that he had become an important teacher for the family.

Those earlier statements have taken on new significance following his death.

What Happened at the Sober-Living Facility?

The circumstances surrounding Presley’s final hours are now receiving increased scrutiny.

TMZ reported that Presley was brought to Resolutions Living on Saturday night after his sober coach allegedly informed the facility that he was under the influence. The outlet also reported that the facility’s admissions officer was subsequently fired. Those claims have not been independently established by authorities.

The Los Angeles County Medical Examiner has not publicly determined the final cause and manner of death.

Santa Monica police are investigating the death, and authorities have not reported evidence of apparent foul play.
