BABY POLA’S FIGHT FOR SURVIVAL: A NEWBORN’S SUDDEN MEDICAL CRISIS
At only three days old, baby Pola went home with her parents as what appeared to be a healthy newborn. However, that very same evening, her condition changed dramatically. She suddenly became unusually tense, her head tilted backward, and her eyes began to move abnormally, signaling an immediate and serious health concern.

A emergency medical ultrasound later revealed severe bleeding and swelling in her brain. This traumatic complication subsequently led to hydrocephalus, a dangerous buildup of fluid within the brain. Pola’s health rapidly deteriorated, forcing medical staff to transfer her to the intensive care unit, where she was immediately placed on full breathing support to keep her stable.

Facing such severe neurological damage so early in her life, doctors initially gave her family almost no hope for survival. Despite the overwhelming odds and the devastating diagnosis, Pola’s family remains by her side as she continues her critical battle in intensive care.
