Unfortunately, Bayezid Hossain, a boy from the outskirts of Magura district in southern Bangladesh, suffers from premature aging syndrome, making him look much older than his peers. Despite being only 4 years old, his face is sagging, his skin is wrinkled, and his eye sockets are deeply sunken, giving him the appearance of an 80-year-old man.

This terrible disease not only severely affects Bayezid’s appearance but also severely restricts his daily activities. Besides difficulty urinating, he frequently suffers from knee pain and has difficulty eating due to his teeth being almost all loose.

Although he has an unusual appearance, the 4-year-old boy’s intelligence is far superior to his peers. However, this advantage is not enough to win the affection of other children and residents in the area. Being ostracized by others has also affected his mental health. According to Tripti Khatun, Bayezid’s mother, he is quite stubborn, impatient, and very headstrong.

Tripti gave birth to Bayezid when she was only 14 years old. When she first saw him, she was shocked. Tripti herself felt her son looked like an alien. Despite being very intelligent, his unusual appearance prevented him from living a normal life.

Despite donations from many benefactors, the poor boy’s condition has not improved. Experts say Bayezid is a rare case, and it is highly likely he will not live past the age of 15.
