Anmol’s Inspiring Journey From a Childhood Acid Attack Survivor to a Model, Advocate, and Voice of Courage for Others Rebuilding Their Lives

Anmol was only two months old when her life was changed by an act of cruelty that no child should ever face. She was attacked with acid by her own father simply because she had been born a girl. Not long after the attack, her mother passed away, leaving Anmol to grow up carrying both physical and emotional scars from a tragedy she never chose.

She survived, but the consequences were severe. The attack left deep scars on her face and caused her to lose one eye. For many, such a painful beginning could have become the end of every dream. But Anmol refused to let violence define her future.

Raised in an orphanage in Mumbai, she slowly built a new path through determination, courage, and self-belief. Over time, she became a model, influencer, and motivational speaker, using her image and voice to challenge narrow ideas of beauty. She showed the world that confidence is not created by perfection, but by strength, authenticity, and the courage to stand proudly in your own story.

Anmol also turned her pain into purpose by founding the Sahas Foundation, an organization dedicated to helping other acid attack survivors rebuild their lives. Through education, emotional support, and employment opportunities, the foundation gives survivors a chance to recover dignity, independence, and hope.

Her story is more than inspiring. It is a powerful reminder that beauty is not measured by appearance, and courage is not defined by what happens to us. True strength is found in the way we rise, rebuild, and keep moving forward.
