A stray mother dog has been brought to safety after surviving extreme summer heat while doing everything she could to care for her young.

The exhausted dog was found during a period of intense high temperatures, struggling to cope with the scorching weather while searching for food and water. Despite her own condition, she remained focused on protecting and caring for her puppies.

Concerned residents alerted an animal rescue team, who carefully secured the mother dog and transported her to a veterinary clinic. Veterinarians treated her for dehydration, exhaustion, and malnutrition, providing fluids, nutritious meals, and a thorough medical examination.

After receiving emergency care, the mother dog was moved to a foster home where she could rest in a cool, safe environment. With regular meals, fresh water, and a comfortable place to recover, her strength gradually returned, allowing her to continue caring for her puppies without the constant struggle for survival.

As the days passed, both the mother and her puppies began to thrive. The puppies grew stronger under her attentive care, while the once-exhausted mother regained her energy and confidence.

Rescuers say the family is doing well and will remain together until the puppies are old enough to be weaned. Once they have completed their veterinary care, they will begin searching for loving forever homes where they can enjoy safe, comfortable lives away from the dangers of the streets and the relentless summer heat.
