A tiny puppy rescued from a muddy roadside ditch has been given a new chance at life thanks to the quick actions of compassionate rescuers.

The young puppy was discovered trapped in thick mud, exhausted and unable to climb out on its own. Cold, frightened, and covered from head to paw in mud, it had likely been struggling for hours before someone noticed its desperate situation.
