A tiny kitten rescued from a dark drain has been given a fresh start after a determined rescue brought it from danger to safety.

The frightened kitten was discovered trapped inside a drainage system, crying for help but unable to climb out. Alone, cold, and exhausted, it had little chance of escaping without assistance.

After hearing the kitten’s cries, concerned residents contacted an animal rescue team. Working carefully, rescuers located the kitten inside the drain and patiently freed it without causing further stress or injury.

The kitten was immediately taken to a veterinary clinic, where it received a thorough examination, fluids, warmth, and treatment for dehydration and minor health concerns. Although weak when first rescued, the kitten quickly began responding to the care it received.
