A seriously injured cat has begun the long road to recovery after being rescued with burn injuries and fractures affecting its hind legs.

The cat was found in severe distress, unable to move normally and showing signs of significant pain. Concerned witnesses contacted an animal rescue team, who carefully transported the injured animal to a veterinary clinic for emergency treatment.
