THIS is the ๐—Œ๐—๐—ˆ๐–ผ๐—„๐—‚๐—‡๐—€ moment a dog owner was seen repeatedly striking and dragging his frightened Rottweiler across the floor.

Malik Zoubiri has been banned from keeping animals for the next five years after being caught mistreating his pet dog in disturbing footage.

The 31-year-old was filmed repeatedly striking the Rottweiler, named Dyson, as it cowered and tried to get away from his grip.

The heartbreaking clip shows Zoubiri, from Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, pinning the dog to the ground.

Zoubiri also used a chain lead around the dog’s neck to drag him by one leg before taking the frightened pup out of view of the camera.

Police and RSPCA officers attended his property on April 11, where they removed Dyson from the home.

This led to an investigation that left a veterinarian deeply concerned about the physical and emotional suffering the dog had endured.

Zoubiri reportedly kicked and struck Dyson and repeatedly lifted him by the collar.

He also reportedly threw 20kg weights toward the dog, forced him underwater, and slammed his head against furniture.

Dysonโ€™s owner also failed to meet his basic needs by deliberately not providing enough food, leaving him without meals for days and not letting him outside to relieve himself.

Sadly, the treatment Dyson experienced led to serious behavioural challenges.

The dog was later humanely euthanized after specialists determined he was no longer suitable for rehoming.

On May 12, Zoubiri appeared at Barkingside Magistrates Court, where he pleaded guilty to two animal welfare offences.

He was handed a five-year ban on keeping animals.

Zoubiri was also ordered to complete a 12-month community order with 15 Rehabilitation Activity Requirement days.

He must also pay ยฃ500 in costs, a ยฃ180 fine, and a ยฃ114 victim surcharge.

Inspector Shahnaz Ahmad said: โ€œAnimals feel pain and distress, just like we do, and always deserve to be treated with kindness and compassion.

โ€œThis result should serve as a reminder that this kind of behaviour will not be tolerated.โ€
