Taylor Frankie Paul’s Ex-Husband Tate Seeks to Unseal Her Drug Test Results amid Custody Dispute

Taylor Frankie Paul‘s ex-husband has asked a Utah court to unseal drug test results amid their ongoing custody dispute.Tate Paul, who shares daughter Indy, 8, and son Ocean, 6, with Taylor, filed the documents with the Salt Lake County District Court on Thursday, Aug. 13.A July 2 ruling required the Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, 32, to take a 15-panel hair or nail test as well as a PEth test for alcohol, according to court documents viewed by PEOPLE.

However, the results were placed under a protective order, meaning they could only be viewed in Tate’s attorney’s office and could not be shared by Tate, who was married to Taylor from 2016 to 2022, or his legal team.

It was ruled that Taylor’s parenting time would be supervised until the tests came back. If they were negative, she would get unsupervised visits, but if they came back positive for unprescribed drugs or excessive levels of prescribed medication, her visits would remain supervised.

A ruling on July 7 shows that the court declined Taylor’s request for review. Therefore, her time with her children remained supervised.

Now, over a month later, Tate has asked for the drug test results to be unsealed, according to the court documents.

The request comes as the pair’s custody dispute continues. At the end of June, Tate, 34, asked the court to grant him a restraining order against Taylor and said he should have sole legal and physical custody of their children, alleging erratic behavior on her part.

Taylor denied the accusations, and the court initially denied the restraining order request, finding that she had not shown an “immediate and irreparable” risk to the children.
