URGENT SEARCH FOR 13-YEAR-OLD DIMITRI DOULAVERAS — POLICE FEAR FOR HIS WELFARE

A desperate search is underway in New South Wales for 13-year-old Dimitri Doulaveras, who has been missing since Wednesday evening.

NSW Police say Dimitri was last seen at a residence in Narwee, Sydney, at around 7 p.m. on August 19. When he could not be contacted or located, officers from Campsie Police Area Command began searching for him.

POLICE ARE CONCERNED FOR HIS SAFETY

Authorities have not publicly indicated what may have happened to Dimitri.

But because of his age and the fact that he has now been missing since Wednesday night, police have issued an urgent appeal for anyone who may have seen him to come forward.

Dimitri is described as:

13 years old

Approximately 160cm tall

Thin build

Caucasian appearance

Blonde, afro-style hair

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with green writing, cream-coloured Nike pants and black shoes.

HE MAY BE TRAVELLING BY PUBLIC TRANSPORT

Police say Dimitri is known to use public transport and is known to frequent areas including:

Sydney CBD

Wollongong

Newcastle

That means investigators are asking people across several parts of NSW to think carefully about whether they may have seen him since Wednesday evening.
