MASKED FIGURE MAY HAVE APPEARED AT NANCY GUTHRIE’S HOME BEFORE HER DISAPPEARANCE

A new detail in the investigation into Nancy Guthrie’s disappearance is raising fresh questions about the masked person captured near her Arizona home.

According to sources cited by ABC News, investigators are examining an earlier image that may show the same individual appearing near Nancy’s home before the day she disappeared.

The development could be significant because investigators are trying to establish whether the person had been watching or approaching the property before Nancy vanished.

The earlier surveillance image reportedly shows a masked individual near the property without a backpack.

On the morning of February 1, another camera captured a person wearing a mask and appearing to interfere with Nancy’s doorbell camera.

The individual was also seen placing branches in front of the camera, potentially obstructing its view.

Investigators have not publicly confirmed that the person in the earlier image is the same individual captured on February 1.

 WHY THE BRANCHES MATTER

The apparent attempt to obstruct the camera has become one of the more closely examined details in the investigation.

One possible theory is that the individual may have approached the property earlier, discovered the presence of the security camera and then returned later with an apparent effort to avoid being recorded.
