14-YEAR-OLD TEXAS GIRL MISSING THREE YEARS AFTER BROTHER’S DEATH IN CAR CRASH

CONROE, Texas — Police are searching for a 14-year-old Texas girl who disappeared from a relative’s home, as her family makes an emotional plea for her safe return.

Olivia “Reese” Arvidson-Tolar was last seen late Sunday, Aug. 23, at a residence in the April Sound area of Conroe, according to the Conroe Police Department. Authorities believe she may have returned to the Klein or Spring area.

FAMILY REALIZED SHE WAS GONE HOURS LATER

Olivia was reportedly last seen between 10 and 11 p.m. at a family member’s residence.

Her family realized she was missing at around 2 a.m. Monday.

Her aunt, Kelly Tolar, told KHOU that the family immediately became concerned because Olivia had never stayed away this long without contacting anyone.

“She’s not in trouble,” Tolar said, urging Olivia to know that her family loves her and simply wants her home safely.

FAMILY SAYS SHE HAS STRUGGLED SINCE HER BROTHER’S DEATH

According to her aunt, Olivia’s 22-year-old older brother died in a car crash in 2023.

Tolar said the loss had a profound impact on Olivia and that the teenager has struggled emotionally since her brother’s death.

The family is particularly concerned because Olivia does not have her medication with her and her cellphone is either turned off or has lost power.

Her family said Olivia had previously left home without permission, but she would normally be located within about an hour.

This time, however, the circumstances are different.

“WE JUST WANT HER FOUND SAFE”

Tolar described Olivia as a sweet girl with her own unique style who enjoys skateboarding and grunge music.

“She’s not in trouble,” her aunt emphasized, saying the family simply wants to know that Olivia is safe and bring her home.

The family is now asking anyone who may have seen the teenager or knows where she might be to contact authorities immediately.

WHAT OLIVIA WAS WEARING

Police said Olivia attends Klein Oak High School.

At the time she disappeared, she was described as wearing:

• A black sweatshirt
• Black and red pajama pants
• Pink slippers

Authorities believe she may have traveled back toward the Klein or Spring area.

The Conroe Police Department is investigating Olivia’s disappearance.

For her family, the search is about bringing a teenager home safely after an already painful period in her life.
