FLIGHT INSTRUCTOR MOM AND HER TWO SONS DIE IN HORRIFIC PLANE CRASH — DAD FIGHTS FOR HIS LIFE

A family flight ended in unimaginable tragedy when an experienced flight instructor and her two young sons died after their small plane crashed and burst into flames in California.

Danna Eady, 41, and her sons Pavel, 10, and Remus, 13, were killed in the September 5 crash near Sierra Sky Park Airport in Fresno.

Their father, Craig Eady, survived — but suffered severe injuries and burns and remains hospitalized.

A FAMILY FLIGHT TURNS INTO TRAGEDY

Danna was piloting the Grumman American AA-5 aircraft when the crash occurred shortly after the family took off.

The aircraft went down near the airport and erupted into flames.

Emergency crews rushed to the scene and managed to contain the fire before it could spread to nearby homes.

Danna initially survived the crash but later died from her injuries.

Her husband Craig was the only survivor.

He is now facing a long recovery that is expected to involve surgeries and rehabilitation.

SHE WAS MORE THAN A PILOT

Danna was remembered as an experienced flight instructor who was deeply passionate about aviation.

She had reportedly dreamed of becoming a commercial airline pilot.

Now, her family is facing the devastating reality of losing a mother and two children in the same accident.

Danna also leaves behind two older children, Lucien, 17, and Felicity, 18, who are now mourning the loss of their mother and younger brothers.

Pavel was only 10.

His brother Remus was 13.

For Craig, the tragedy is even more unimaginable: he survived the crash but lost his wife and two sons.

A fundraising campaign has since been launched to help with his medical expenses and the family’s needs as he begins what could be a long road to recovery.

WHAT CAUSED THE CRASH?

That question remains unanswered.

The cause of the crash has not been established, and the National Transportation Safety Board is investigating.
