Outpouring of Support Pushes GoFundMe for Erin Piacenti’s 5-Month-Old Daughter Past $900,000

GoFundMe for Baby Daughter of Times Square Stabbing Victim Erin Piacenti Surpasses $893,000

A GoFundMe campaign created in memory of Erin Piacenti, a 32-year-old Bank of America vice president who was fatally stabbed in Times Square, has raised nearly $900,000 to support her five-month-old daughter.

Piacenti was killed on August 31, 2026, on what was reportedly her first day back at work after returning from maternity leave. Her death has left behind her husband, Frank, and their infant daughter, Madison.

Following the tragedy, a GoFundMe campaign titled “In Memory of Erin Piacenti: Supporting Madison’s Future” was launched to help provide financial support for Madison as she grows up without her mother.

At the time of checking, the fundraising page had collected approximately $893,345 from more than 9,100 contributions, with a current goal of $1.2 million.

The overwhelming response reflects the impact Piacenti’s death has had on people who never knew her personally but were moved by the circumstances surrounding the tragedy and the young daughter she leaves behind.

Donations to the campaign are intended to support Madison’s future and help her family navigate the financial challenges that follow such an unexpected loss.

For Frank and Madison, however, the fundraiser represents more than a financial safety net. It is also a public expression of sympathy for a family facing an unimaginable loss and a way for strangers to help ensure that Piacenti’s daughter has support as she grows older.

The fundraising effort continues as friends, relatives and members of the wider community remember Piacenti and rally around her family.

With the campaign already approaching the $1 million mark, supporters are continuing to contribute toward its $1.2 million goal, hoping to provide Madison with greater financial security for the years ahead.
