Jaelyn Faye Nicole Wagoner’s family is facing a heartbreak no parent should ever have to endure.

After spending far too little time with their precious little girl, the family lost Jaelyn on August 5. In the days since, they have been trying to navigate an unimaginable loss while holding tightly to the memories they shared with her.

“We just wish time could stand still,” her family shared. “We had our little girl for such a short time, and letting her go has been the hardest thing we have ever faced.”

Now, as they prepare a final resting place for their beloved daughter, friends and family have asked how they can help with the cost of her tombstone.

The family stressed that no one should feel obligated to contribute, but said every act of kindness and every message of support means more than words can express.

“We are so grateful for everyone who has loved Jaelyn and stood beside us during this heartbreaking time,” they said. “Please keep our family in your thoughts as we learn how to live with this loss.”

For Jaelyn’s family, her time may have been far too short — but the love she brought into their lives will remain forever.
