POLICE HUNT FOR GROUP OF YOUNG PEOPLE SEEN LEAVING SCENE AFTER SERIOUS ASSAULT

A 13-year-old boy was airlifted to hospital after suffering an injury consistent with a stabbing during a serious assault on the seafront in Eastbourne, England.

The incident happened in broad daylight on Sunday afternoon, September 20, as emergency services were called to Grand Parade, near the junctions with Elms Avenue and Cavendish Place.

Sussex Police said the teenager had sustained an injury consistent with having been stabbed and was airlifted to hospital for treatment.
