Four-month-old Jax has already captured his family’s heart with his bright smile and wonderfully happy personality.

Born with what his family lovingly calls a “lucky fin,” Jax has a limb difference that makes him beautifully unique. Today, at four months old, his mother says he is one of the happiest and most smiley babies she has ever met.

But behind those precious smiles is a family hoping to find something just as important — a community where Jax can grow up knowing he is not alone.

Living in Australia, his mother has been searching for organisations and families where they can meet other babies and children with similar limb differences.

“I’ve been wanting to message you for quite some time, but just didn’t know how to,” she shared. “This is my beautiful boy Jax. He’s four months old today and born with a lucky fin.”

For his family, the journey has brought many new emotions. They are learning to embrace every part of Jax’s story while looking ahead to the years to come.

“He’s the most smiley and happy boy I’ve ever met,” his mother said, describing the little boy who continues to brighten their days.

As Jax grows, his family hopes to surround him with people who understand his experiences — and with children who can show him that being different does not mean being alone.

“We would love to meet new people,” his mother said, reaching out to other families across Australia.

For now, Jax is simply enjoying being a four-month-old boy — smiling, growing, and filling his family’s world with joy.
