Less than a month after Dolly Parton’s death, a significant change has unfolded inside the team that spent years protecting her homes and properties.

Bryan Seaver, Parton’s nephew and longtime head of security, has been removed from that position, along with the security companies associated with him. The decision has opened an unexpectedly public dispute involving Seaver, representatives connected to Parton’s estate, her longtime manager Danny Nozell and Pinnacle Bank.

The development is particularly striking because Seaver had occupied a deeply personal position in Parton’s world for more than two decades. He was not merely a relative working around the country music legend.
