“FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6”: BOY, 6, DIES AFTER BIKE RIDE NEAR HIS HOME

“FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6”: BOY, 6, DIES AFTER BIKE RIDE NEAR HIS HOME
Harrison Glynne Jones was just six years old when he went out for a bike ride after dinner. Minutes later, a collision outside his family home in North Wales changed his loved ones’ lives forever. Now, his family is remembering the lively little boy whose personality could light up a room, as police continue investigating the incident.
A six-year-old boy has been remembered by his heartbroken family after he died following a collision involving a van near his home in North Wales.
Harrison Glynne Jones was involved in a collision with a white Ford Transit tipper on Mill Road in Llanfairfechan, Conwy, at around 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, 2026.
Emergency services were called to the scene, but despite their efforts, Harrison was pronounced dead.
According to a fundraising appeal established to support his family, the little boy had asked his parents if he could go for a bike ride after dinner. What began as an ordinary childhood moment became a tragedy that his family is now struggling to comprehend.
A little boy whose personality could light up a room
For Harrison’s family, he was far more than the child at the centre of a police investigation.
His relatives described him as a “cheeky chappy, full of character with a personality that could light up a room.”
He was a much-loved son and younger brother whose presence brought joy to the people around him.
Harrison’s parents, Kayleigh Bolton and Daryl Jones, are now facing the unimaginable task of saying goodbye to their little boy. His sisters, Sienna, 9, and Eira, 16, have also been left grieving the loss of their younger brother.
The family’s fundraising appeal described their heartbreak as impossible to put into words, saying their world had been changed forever.
They want Harrison to be remembered for the happy, lively child he was — not only for the circumstances surrounding his final bike ride.
A community comes together to support his family
Following Harrison’s death, a fundraising campaign was launched to help his parents through the difficult weeks and months ahead.
The money is intended to cover funeral and memorial expenses, as well as rent, household bills, food and other essential costs while the family takes time away from work to grieve.
The appeal quickly attracted support from hundreds of donors, including people who did not know Harrison personally but were touched by his family’s loss.
By October 4, the campaign had raised more than £23,000, surpassing its original £5,000 target and approaching a revised goal of £30,000, according to Nation.Cymru.
The donations have offered practical support during an unimaginable time, although nothing can ease the pain of losing a child so young. <
Police continue investigating the collision
North Wales Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is examining the circumstances surrounding the incident.
A 39-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of driving offences and later released under investigation while enquiries continued. His arrest does not establish responsibility for the collision, and police have urged the public not to speculate about what happened.
Detective Inspector Tim Evans appealed to anyone who was in the area around Mill Road and Pen y Bryn Road at approximately 5 p.m. on October 1 to contact investigators.
Police are particularly interested in CCTV recordings, doorbell-camera footage and dashcam video that may help establish the sequence of events.
Anyone who believes they have relevant information is encouraged to contact North Wales Police.
“Forever loved, forever missed, forever 6”
As the investigation continues, Harrison’s family is holding onto the memories of the little boy they loved.
There will be birthdays he will never celebrate, milestones he will never reach and ordinary family moments that will now be remembered with a mixture of love and sorrow.
But his relatives want the world to remember his personality, his energy and the happiness he brought into their lives.
Their tribute ends with a few simple words that capture the depth of their loss:
“Forever loved, forever missed, forever 6.”
Harrison was only six years old. His life was tragically short, but the love surrounding him is clear in the words his family has shared and the support their community has offered.
As his loved ones prepare to navigate life without him, they are determined that he will never be forgotten.
Forever loved. Forever missed. Forever six.
