SIR TOM JONES, 86, POSTPONES MORE US CONCERTS ON DOCTOR’S ORDERS AFTER REVEALING BAD CASE OF THE FLU

The legendary Welsh singer has postponed several performances during his American tour after falling ill. Following his initial announcement about two California shows, further medical advice forced additional changes to his schedule.

Sir Tom Jones has left fans concerned after announcing a series of changes to his US concert schedule following a bout of flu.

The 86-year-old music legend revealed on October 26, 2026, that he had unexpectedly developed what he described as a “bad case of the flu” and had been advised by his doctor not to perform.

The announcement initially affected two concerts in California: one at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles and another at The Rady Shell in San Diego.

But the situation developed further over the following days, with additional performances postponed after he received further medical advice.

In a message shared on social media, Jones explained that he had completed 20 performances across the United States before unexpectedly becoming unwell.

“I’ve had a great time these last few weeks, completing 20 shows and singing for wonderful audiences across the USA, but unexpectedly I’ve been hit with a bad case of the flu,” he wrote.

“Following doctor’s advice, I unfortunately have to reschedule tonight’s show in Los Angeles and tomorrow’s show in San Diego.”

He apologised to fans who had been planning to attend and said he hoped to see them soon.

The San Diego concert was moved to November 3, while the Los Angeles performance was rescheduled for November 4.

On October 30, Jones announced another change to his touring schedule.
