NINE LIVES, NINE STORIES: REMEMBERING THE VICTIMS OF THE PALM BEACH LEARJET CRASH
An entrepreneur, an artist, two young children, a devoted caregiver, two partners and two pilots were among the nine people who lost their lives when a private jet crashed in Florida. Their families are now left remembering the lives, dreams and love that can never be replaced.
A devastating aviation accident in Palm Beach County, Florida, has taken nine lives, leaving families, friends and communities grieving an unimaginable loss.
On November 1, 2026, a Learjet 60 carrying seven passengers and two crew members crashed near Greenacres, Florida. The aircraft had departed Austin, Texas, and was traveling to North Eleuthera in the Bahamas when it went down.
All nine people aboard were killed.
In the days following the tragedy, relatives identified those who had been on the flight. Their stories revealed more than a list of names: they were parents, children, friends, partners and aviation professionals whose lives were deeply connected to the people around them.
ADAM ROBINSON — AN ENTREPRENEUR AND DEVOTED FATHER
Adam Robinson was a technology entrepreneur whose work helped him build a presence in the business community.
He was the co-founder and CEO of Retention.com and also led other technology ventures, including RB2B. Colleagues and members of the business community remembered him for his energy, leadership and willingness to share his experience with others.
But beyond his professional achievements, Adam was a husband and father.
His family described him and his wife as devoted parents whose children were the light of their lives.
HELEN SHARP — AN ARTIST WHO LOVED CREATIVITY
Helen Sharp was Adam’s wife and the mother of their two young children.
She was known for her creative work, including ceramics, and had been pursuing new artistic ambitions. Her family and friends remembered a woman whose creativity and enthusiasm were an important part of her life.
Together, Helen and Adam were building a life around their family, their work and the experiences they hoped to share with their children.
Their loss has left loved ones mourning not only two individuals, but a family future that was taken away.
EMMA AND CHARLIE ROBINSON — TWO CHILDREN WITH THEIR WHOLE LIVES AHEAD
Among the victims were the couple’s two young children: Emma, 4, and Charlie, 2.
They were at the very beginning of their lives, with countless milestones still waiting for them — birthdays, first days of school, family celebrations and the ordinary moments that become treasured memories.
In their joint statement, the families described the children as the center of their parents’ world.
Their names have become an especially heartbreaking part of this tragedy, as relatives and friends try to come to terms with the loss of two little lives.
ANITA MARIA CETINA — A CAREGIVER WHO BECAME PART OF THE FAMILY
Anita Maria Cetina was the nanny who cared for Emma and Charlie.
She was not simply someone entrusted with looking after the children. The families described her as a person who cared for them with tenderness and devotion and who had become an important part of the family.
Her loss is being mourned alongside the children she helped raise and the people whose lives she touched.
RACHAEL REED AND CHARMI FEHR — TWO PARTNERS SHARING A LIFE TOGETHER
Rachael Reed and Charmi Fehr were also aboard the aircraft.
The families described the pair as partners who shared a love of adventure and a deep commitment to one another and to the life they were building together.
Their story was one of companionship, shared experiences and plans for the future.
Now, those who knew them are left holding the memories of the life they shared.
CAPTAIN JEFF GREGORY — A PILOT WHO SPENT HIS LIFE IN THE SKIES
Captain Jeff Gregory, 55, was the pilot of the Learjet 60.
He was among the two crew members who died in the crash. Friends and those who knew him have also been grieving the loss of a man whose professional life was dedicated to aviation.
The families of the passengers expressed sympathy for the pilots’ loved ones, recognizing that they, too, were facing an overwhelming loss.
NATHALIA GADELHA FILGUEIRAS — A YOUNG WOMAN WHO PURSUED HER DREAM OF FLYING
Nathalia Gadelha Filgueiras, 20, was the aircraft’s co-pilot.
Her journey into aviation began at a remarkably young age. She earned her private pilot’s license while still a teenager and had spoken publicly about her excitement at being able to fly.
For Nathalia, aviation was more than a job. It was a dream she had worked toward from adolescence.
Her death has prompted an outpouring of sadness among those who knew her and those inspired by her determination to pursue a career in the skies.
THE CRASH AND THE INVESTIGATION
The Learjet 60 departed Austin-Bergstrom International Airport on November 1, bound for North Eleuthera in the Bahamas.
As the aircraft approached South Florida, the flight crew reported precipitation, icing and turbulence to air traffic controllers. Radio communications later captured an emergency declaration and reports of a rapidly increasing descent.
The aircraft crashed in the Greenacres area of Palm Beach County at approximately 12:50 p.m. local time.
The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the accident. Investigators have since reported finding pieces of the aircraft’s left elevator several miles from the crash site, an important discovery as they work to establish what happened.
However, the investigation remains ongoing, and the final cause has not yet been determined.
NINE PEOPLE, NINE STORIES — A LEGACY THAT WILL NOT BE FORGOTTEN
The nine people aboard the Learjet were not simply passengers on the same flight. Each had a story, relationships, ambitions and people who loved them.
Adam and Helen leave behind memories of a family built around their children. Emma and Charlie will be remembered by the people who loved them. Anita will be remembered for the care she gave. Rachael and Charmi will be remembered for the life they shared. Jeff and Nathalia will be remembered by those whose lives were connected to their work and their passion for aviation.
In a joint statement, the families expressed gratitude to first responders, investigators and the Palm Beach County community for their support, while asking for privacy as they grieve.
No words can undo the loss or fill the spaces left behind.
But the lives of these nine people were meaningful, and the memories they leave with their families and friends will continue long after the headlines fade.
May all nine rest in peace, and may their loved ones find strength and comfort in the memories they shared.
