The process of rescuing a 3-year-old boy who fell into the well was tense, after many unfeasible options, the functional force decided to let a 14-year-old boy directly go into the well to bring the victim up.

One day in April 2013, in Romania, a tragic accident occurred when a 3-year-old boy fell into a deep well. Gabriel Guiu (3 years old) while playing in the backyard unfortunately fell into a well and was trapped at a depth of 15 meters.

The boy cried a lot because he panicked. Soon after, the rescue team arrived to rescue. However, the process of getting Gabriel out of the deep well encountered a lot of difficulties because the mouth of the well was too small.

Eleven hours later, Gabriel was still trapped under the well. The rescue team calculated many solutions, but they were all impossible. Racing against time, the rescue team began to figure out how to get someone who could get into the well to pull Gabriel up. This method has potential risks, but it is almost the only way to save the child and who is suitable to be able to go down here?

Cristian Marian Becheanu (14), a neighbor of Gabriel, volunteered to go down to the well to rescue the 3-year-old boy. After being equipped with the necessary protective equipment and training in an emergency rescue course, Cristian was tied a headlight to his head and taken to the mouth of the well with many ropes around him.

A 14-year-old boy with a small body crawled into the well in the direction of his legs upside down to the sky, above the rescue team ready to pull up the rope when it could reach the 3-year-old victim. Fortunately, Cristian managed to save Grabriel to everyone’s joy.

Cristian’s brave act touched and praised many people. Cristian shared that he felt scared at first, but during the process of going down the well, he didn’t.

The situation of the 14-year-old hero is pitiful when the family is poor, his mother leaves and the boy lives with his grandfather. Gabriel’s actions inspire many people to have a brave heart, self-sacrifice and love for those around them, overcoming adversity, and always being optimistic in the face of everything.

It is reported that after the rescue, the town where Cristian lived promised to give the boy a piece of land and a more spacious house to live with his grandfather.
