A dog trapped inside a storm drain system has been safely rescued after a coordinated effort by animal rescuers and concerned community members.
The dog was discovered after people in the area heard barking coming from beneath a roadside drain. Unable to climb out on its own, the frightened animal remained trapped while rescuers worked to determine its exact location within the drainage system.
After carefully accessing the drain, the rescue team used specialized equipment and patient handling techniques to safely reach the dog without causing additional stress or injury. Following a careful extraction, the exhausted animal was finally lifted to safety.

The dog was immediately transported to a veterinary clinic, where veterinarians performed a full health examination. Although tired and dehydrated from the ordeal, the dog was found to have no life-threatening injuries. It received fluids, food, and supportive care before continuing its recovery.
Once medically cleared, the dog was placed in temporary foster care, where it could rest in a warm, secure environment. Over the following days, it regained its strength, became more relaxed around its caregivers, and gradually returned to its playful, affectionate nature.
Rescuers say the successful operation was made possible by the quick actions of local residents who reported the trapped dog and the teamwork of everyone involved in the rescue. The dog is now safe and is expected to continue recovering while preparations are made to help it find a loving forever home.
