OVER $700,000 RAISED FOR LINDSAY CLANCY’S PARENTS AS TRIAL CONTINUES ⚖️
A GoFundMe campaign supporting Mike and Paula Musgrove, the parents of Lindsay Clancy, has now raised more than $700,000 toward its $2 million goal, according to recent reports.
The Musgrove Family Fund was created to help the couple deal with the financial burden of remaining close to their daughter throughout her criminal case.
According to the fundraiser, Mike and Paula relocated from Connecticut to Massachusetts and have spent more than three years attending proceedings and covering travel, lodging, living and other family expenses.
THEY HAVE REMAINED BY THEIR DAUGHTER
The fundraiser emphasizes that donations are not intended to take a position on the allegations or determine the outcome of Lindsay’s trial.
Mike and Paula are listed as the beneficiaries and direct recipients of the money, and the campaign says they will control how the funds are used. The fundraiser also says Lindsay’s attorney is aware of the effort. GoFundMe has reportedly verified the campaign.
THE TRIAL CONTINUES
Lindsay Clancy is currently on trial in Massachusetts in connection with the January 2023 deaths of her three children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months.
Clancy has pleaded not guilty, while her defense has argued that she was suffering from severe postpartum psychosis and was not criminally responsible. Prosecutors have presented a different account of what happened.
For her parents, however, the fundraiser says the financial and emotional consequences have continued for years.
