Chris Watts Reportedly Seeks to Marry Again While Serving Life in Prison

Chris Watts Reportedly Seeks Permission to Marry Woman Who Moved to Wisconsin to Be Near Him

Chris Watts, 41, who is serving multiple life sentences at Dodge Correctional Institution in Wisconsin for the 2018 murders of his pregnant wife, Shanann Watts, and their two daughters, has reportedly applied for permission to marry a woman who has been identified as Lizzie Henderson, 39.

According to reports, Henderson moved from Ohio to Wisconsin to be closer to Watts while he remains incarcerated.

Henderson reportedly submitted a marriage request through the Wisconsin prison system and has also begun the process of changing her name to “Lizzie Watts.”

However, submitting a marriage request does not mean the marriage has been approved or has already taken place. The request must go through the required review and approval process under Wisconsin’s prison regulations.

Watts remains incarcerated while serving his life sentences for the deaths of Shanann and their two young daughters.

The reported marriage request has drawn renewed public attention to Watts’ life behind bars and the unusual circumstances surrounding his relationship with Henderson.

For now, any wedding plans remain subject to prison-system approval, and there is no confirmation that the couple has legally married.
