The first deadly crash occurred in Suşehri, Sivas, where a passenger coach overturned and plunged down a steep bank.

Four people were killed and another 10 were injured, including four people who suffered serious injuries, according to reports.

Dramatic images from the scene showed the badly damaged coach lying overturned in a ditch as emergency crews surrounded the wreckage.

The victims were identified as Funda Durhan, Erva Durhan, Dilek Özcan and Hikmet Cengiz.

THREE KILLED AFTER BUS SLAMS INTO LORRY

Hours later, another deadly collision unfolded in Muğla.

A passenger bus traveling from Istanbul toward Bodrum crashed into the back of a lorry on the Milas-Söke Highway, according to The Sun.

The impact killed the bus driver and one passenger at the scene.

A second passenger, 46-year-old Songül Demir, was seriously injured and taken to hospital but later died despite medical efforts.

That brought the death toll from the Muğla crash to three.

Another 17 passengers were injured, with five reportedly in critical condition.

The force of the collision left the front of the coach severely crushed.

Emergency medical teams, police and firefighters rushed to the scene, while some passengers were reportedly trapped inside the damaged vehicle.

Fire crews worked to free those who could not escape on their own.

The images from the crash site showed the scale of the destruction, with the bus’s front end badly mangled after striking the lorry.

TWO CRASHES, SEVEN LIVES LOST

The two incidents were separate crashes, but together they produced a devastating toll within a matter of hours.

At least seven people died, while 27 others were injured across the two accidents, including several who remained in serious or critical condition.

Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crashes.

For families waiting for loved ones to return home, however, the investigation comes after a night of unimaginable loss.

Two ordinary journeys ended in separate disasters — leaving seven people dead and dozens more fighting to recover from their injuries.
