‘Families deserve answers’ | $50K reward offered in Cypress triple murder, arson case, HCSO announces

“Our investigators remain committed to finding those responsible and bringing justice to their families,” Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said.

HARRIS COUNTY, Texas — Two years after a triple murder and suspected arson, authorities are still looking for who killed a Cypress mother, her son and his girlfriend.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office on Tuesday announced that the FBI was increasing the reward in the case from $25,000 to $50,000 in hopes of finding who killed Kelly Masciarelli, Kolin Foster and Cameryn Richard.

The three victims were found dead with multiple gunshot wounds inside a burning home on Plains River Drive in the Cypress Mill Park community on August 18, 2024.
“It was a calculated act of murder and arson,” Sheriff Ed Gonzalez said when the initial reward was announced in January 2025.
At the time the initial reward was offered, authorities released surveillance video they say shows the gunman. They said the suspect committed the shooting, lit the house on fire, and calmly walked out to a waiting getaway car.
“Two years later, we have not forgotten Kelly, Kolin, or Cameryn,” Gonzalez said in a 2026 update. “Our investigators remain committed to finding those responsible and bringing justice to their families. We believe there are people who know what happened that night, and we are asking them to come forward.”
Investigators hope that someone sees the previously released surveillance video and recognizes the suspect or vehicle he got into.

“Even the smallest piece of information could be critical to this investigation,” the sheriff said. “These families deserve answers.”
Anyone with information in this case is asked to contact the FBI at 1-800-225-5324, or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
