HAVE YOU SEEN DIMITRI? 13-YEAR-OLD MISSING FROM SYDNEY MAY BE IN WOLLONGONG

An urgent search is underway for 13-year-old Dimitri Doulaveras, who police say may now be in the Wollongong area.

Dimitri was last seen at a residence in Narwee, Sydney, at around 7 p.m. on Wednesday, August 19.

When he could not be located or contacted, officers from Campsie Police Area Command began inquiries into his whereabouts.

POLICE BELIEVE HE MAY BE TRAVELLING

Dimitri is known to use public transport and is known to frequent areas including:

Wollongong
Newcastle
Sydney CBD

That has prompted police to ask people across those areas to remain alert and report any information that could help locate him.

Police describe Dimitri as:

• 13 years old
• Caucasian appearance
• Blonde, afro-style hair
• Approximately 160 cm tall
• Thin build

He was last seen wearing a black T-shirt with green writing, cream Nike pants and black shoes.

There is currently no confirmed public information indicating that Dimitri has been harmed.

The priority is simply finding him and making sure he is safe.

Police are urging anyone who may have seen Dimitri — particularly around Wollongong, Newcastle or Sydney CBD — to come forward.

A teenager travelling by public transport can move through several locations quickly, making eyewitness information especially important.
