Trusting the right people was supposed to help us build a better future for our baby, but instead, it has brought our family to a place we never imagined we would be. Now, we are facing an unimaginable struggle as we fight to keep our precious son, Josiah, alive.

Josiah was never supposed to survive. Against the odds, he fought his way through, and he is still here with us today. His survival has been nothing short of a miracle, but his journey is far from over. He desperately needs specialized medical care that is only available at Boston Children’s Hospital.

To give Josiah the best chance at life, we made the heartbreaking decision to leave everything behind and relocate more than 2,000 miles away from our closest family, friends, and support system. We sacrificed everything we had because, for us, there was never a question about how far we would go to save our baby.

But the weight of everything has finally caught up with us. We have been pushed to our absolute limit emotionally, physically, and financially. Being so far from home without the people who would normally help us has made an already devastating situation even harder.

Now, we are facing a terrifying deadline. We need to raise $6,000 by September 10. Without that money, we could lose our housing and face homelessness while Josiah is still in desperate need of critical medical care.

The thought of having to choose between keeping a roof over our heads and making sure our baby can receive the treatment he needs is something no parent should ever have to face.
