A NEW MOTHER’S RACE AGAINST TIME: HER PREMATURE BABY FIGHTS TO GROW STRONGER AS HOSPITAL BILLS CONTINUE TO RISE

Samuna should be enjoying the first precious days of motherhood — holding her newborn close, watching those tiny movements and dreaming about the future.
Instead, she is spending those days beside a hospital bed, praying that her premature baby will grow stronger.

Her little one arrived earlier than expected and has needed close medical care in hospital ever since. Because the baby was born prematurely, doctors must carefully monitor their breathing, feeding and development while the tiny body works to adjust and gain strength.
For Samuna, every small improvement brings hope. Every difficult day brings another wave of worry.

“Being a mother has given me a strength I didn’t know I had,” Samuna shared. “All I want is for my baby to become stronger and eventually come home with me.”
But while she focuses on her newborn’s recovery, another difficult reality is growing: the hospital bills.

Without a stable job, the family is struggling to keep up with the increasing cost of their baby’s care. At the same time, visa complications and unexpected fines have added even more financial pressure during an already overwhelming period.
“We never imagined that welcoming our baby would come with so many challenges,” the family said. “We are grateful for every person who stands beside us during this difficult time.”

Despite the uncertainty, Samuna refuses to lose hope.
She continues to sit beside her baby, holding onto every precious moment and believing that one day, the hospital room will be replaced by a home filled with peaceful nights, tiny smiles and the ordinary joys she has been dreaming of.
