ALISA GOODS: SURVEILLANCE VIDEO REVEALS HER FINAL KNOWN MOMENTS

For nearly two weeks, the disappearance of 63-year-old Alisa Goods, a New York grandmother visiting Las Vegas, left her family desperately searching for answers.

Now, surveillance footage has given investigators a clearer picture of her final known movements — but major questions remain.

THE SURVEILLANCE FOOTAGE

According to the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department, airport surveillance from August 8, 2026 showed Goods falling down an embankment near Harry Reid International Airport.

The footage then showed her getting back up before collapsing again.

Police said there was no further movement visible afterward, and her location could not be seen from the nearby street.

Her body was discovered nearly two weeks later, on August 20, in a drainage ditch near Wayne Newton Boulevard and the Terminal 1 parking garage.

 THEN CAME THE MYSTERIOUS TEXT MESSAGES

Before her body was found, Goods’ family received disturbing messages from her phone.

The messages reportedly asked for help, gas money and Bitcoin.

Those communications intensified the family’s fears that someone else may have been using her phone after she disappeared. Her relatives also noted that some of the messages did not sound like Goods.

However, those messages have not been publicly established as evidence that someone harmed Goods. Reports indicate investigators have considered the possibility that the messages came from people attempting to impersonate her or use her number.

WHY HER DISAPPEARANCE WAS SO ALARMING

Goods had traveled from New York to Las Vegas to visit a longtime friend.

On August 8, she reportedly left the friend’s home to go shopping and planned to visit a nearby CVS. She did not return.

Her family reported her missing on August 10, after growing increasingly concerned about her whereabouts.

Her relatives traveled to Las Vegas and organized an extensive search, distributing flyers and appealing publicly for information.

 THE BIGGEST QUESTION REMAINS UNANSWERED

The surveillance footage provides an important timeline, but it does not explain why Goods fell, what happened medically afterward, or whether another person was involved.

As of the latest police reporting, authorities had not publicly released an official cause or manner of death.

That means claims that her death has already been officially explained — or that the surveillance footage proves exactly what happened — would go beyond the evidence currently available.

Goods’ family has now gone from searching for a missing loved one to trying to understand the circumstances surrounding her final hours.

The surveillance footage may have answered one question — where she was and what happened immediately before she disappeared from view.
