Royce Moser Charged in Death of 18-Year-Old Girlfriend Karoline Heintz in Pennsylvania

Royce Moser, 18, has been charged in connection with the death of his girlfriend, Karoline Heintz, 18, in Pennsylvania.

Heintz was a freshman at PennWest California and a soccer player who was preparing for the upcoming collegiate season. Her body was discovered inside her Jeep near the California Public Library at around 12:30 a.m. on August 20, 2026.

According to police, Heintz suffered multiple stab wounds after she and Moser met to discuss their relationship. Investigators allege that Moser later enlisted his mother, Rachel Moser, to help clean up the scene and move the vehicle.

Rachel Moser has also been arrested and faces charges related to tampering with evidence and obstructing the investigation.

Karoline’s family described her death as “a parent’s worst nightmare” and said they are seeking justice for their daughter.

Royce and Rachel Moser face allegations that have not been proven in court. Both are presumed innocent unless found guilty through the legal process, while the investigation continues.
