NYC Grandmother Found Dead in Las Vegas Drainage Ditch After Security Cameras Capture Her Final Moments

Alisa Goods, 63, a Manhattan mother of five and grandmother of five, was found dead in Las Vegas nearly two weeks after she disappeared while visiting a friend.

Goods went missing on August 8, 2026. Her body was discovered on August 20 in a drainage ditch near Harry Reid International Airport.

Security camera footage from the day she disappeared reportedly captured Goods falling down an embankment. She appeared to attempt to stand before falling or collapsing again. No further movement was recorded afterward.

The circumstances surrounding her death remain unclear. Authorities have not classified the case as a homicide, and the official cause and manner of death had not been released in the latest reports.

Goods’ family also reported receiving suspicious messages from her phone after she disappeared, including requests for money, gas money, and Bitcoin. Police suspect the messages may have involved phone number spoofing.

Investigators continue to examine the surveillance footage and other evidence as they work to determine what happened to Goods before and after her disappearance.
