Two California Teens Killed in Victorville Crash as Two Men Face Murder Charges

Two teenage girls who were described by their families as “inseparable” were killed in a devastating crash in Victorville, California, on August 14, 2026.

The victims were identified as Maddalyn Dailey, 17, and Isabell DeLang/Hill, 16. Their families said the girls had been close friends since elementary school.

Following the collision, George Gary Sanchez, 49, was arrested. Authorities said he was reportedly driving a Dodge Charger at the time of the crash.

Another suspect, Terry Lamar Easter, 50, was arrested on August 26 following a manhunt. Easter was reportedly driving a Chevrolet Camaro, and prosecutors allege that he was traveling at an extremely high speed. According to prosecutors, the vehicle reached approximately 117 mph (188 km/h).

Both Sanchez and Easter face charges including murder and gross vehicular manslaughter with negligence in connection with the deaths.

Three other people—Ryan James Lewis, Lukevy Shawntell Yates, and Madge Wells—were also arrested on allegations of being accessories after the fact. They were later released after reportedly cooperating with investigators.

The case remains under investigation as authorities continue working to establish the full circumstances surrounding the fatal collision. The charges are allegations, and all defendants are presumed innocent unless proven guilty in court.
