New details have emerged in the heartbreaking case of Alisa Goods, a 63-year-old New York grandmother who disappeared while visiting Las Vegas.
Goods was last seen on August 8, after leaving the home of a longtime friend to run an errand. Her family became increasingly worried when she failed to return and later received unusual messages from her phone requesting money and Bitcoin.
But investigators have now revealed what surveillance footage shows happened later that day.
SECURITY VIDEO CAPTURED A CRUCIAL MOMENT
According to Las Vegas police, airport surveillance footage showed Goods near Harry Reid International Airport.
The video reportedly shows her falling down an embankment, getting back up and then collapsing again.
She remained there afterward.
Her body was not visible from the street, which may help explain why search efforts did not locate her sooner.
FOUND 12 DAYS AFTER SHE DISAPPEARED
On August 20, police were called to a drainage ditch near the airport’s Terminal 1 parking garage.
A homeless man had noticed the body and alerted parking attendants, who then contacted authorities.
Goods was ultimately identified as the missing grandmother.
Her family had spent days desperately searching for answers.
Her daughter traveled to Las Vegas, while relatives contacted hospitals and other facilities and appealed publicly for information.

The messages reportedly asked family members for help, gas money and Bitcoin.
Because Goods did not drive, relatives immediately found the requests suspicious and feared someone else had possession of her phone.
Authorities later determined that the messages were not connected to her disappearance, according to reporting on the police investigation.

Goods had recently undergone several procedures involving her legs, which reportedly made mobility difficult.
