BABY S’S BODY WAS HIDDEN AFTER HER DEATH — AND THE PLACE WHERE POLICE FOUND THE NEWBORN HAS BECOME ONE OF THE MOST DISTURBING DETAILS OF THE CASE

A newborn baby girl was found concealed in an outbuilding in Sheffield — a discovery that has become one of the most disturbing details in a case now involving four adults facing murder charges.

Baby S was found at a property in Holywell Heights, Wincobank, after police were called on Sunday morning following concerns about the safety of an infant.

But when officers arrived, the newborn was not found inside the main house.

She was discovered in an outbuilding, lying on top of a washing machine.

According to evidence presented in court, the baby had been wrapped in a towel and placed inside a blue bag.

A NEWBORN FOUND IN AN OUTBUILDING

The location immediately raised questions about what had happened before police arrived.

Prosecutors told the court that Baby S had suffered 33 wounds from 15 separate stabbings.

The four adults now charged in connection with her death are Andrea Skopova, 20; Peter Horvath Jr, 19; Peter Horvath Sr, 38; and Nina Horvathova, 37.

They have each been charged with murder, causing or allowing the death of a child, and perverting the course of justice in connection with alleged efforts to conceal what happened.

FOUR ADULTS IN COURT

Skopova is the baby’s mother.

Peter Horvath Jr is understood to be Skopova’s boyfriend and is the son of Peter Horvath Sr and Nina Horvathova.

All four adults have been remanded in custody.

A 15-year-old girl has also been charged with perverting the course of justice. Because of her age, she cannot legally be named.

Two other women, aged 26 and 37, were arrested on suspicion of murder but remain on bail.

THE DISCOVERY THAT SHOCKED THE COMMUNITY

Flowers have since been left near the police cordon outside the property.

South Yorkshire Police have urged the public not to speculate or spread unverified information online, warning that doing so could affect the criminal justice process.

The investigation remains ongoing.

And while the court has heard disturbing allegations about Baby S’s final moments, the central question remains unanswered:

Why was a newborn allegedly taken away from the main house and concealed inside an outbuilding?

That question is now part of a much larger investigation into what happened to Baby S — and who was responsible.

All four adults are presumed innocent unless and until proven guilty in court.
