HE HAS A NEW WIFE — AND NOW PATRICK CLANCY FACES ANOTHER LEGAL BATTLE

Patrick Clancy has made his first public appearance since the trial of his ex-wife, Lindsay Clancy, ended without a verdict.

But the mistrial did not bring an end to the legal turmoil surrounding the family.

Patrick, who has since remarried infertility specialist Rachel Danis, could be forced to relive the devastating events of January 2023 if prosecutors decide to retry Lindsay. He is also pursuing separate legal action against healthcare providers over the treatment Lindsay received before the tragedy.

And now, another battle is emerging — this time over what Patrick’s attorneys describe as a growing wave of online conspiracy theories accusing him of involvement in the deaths of his three children.

His legal team says those claims are completely false.

“THERE WILL NEVER BE CLOSURE”

After Judge William Sullivan declared a mistrial on September 4, Patrick spoke through his attorney.

His message was not about revenge.

It was about the possibility of having to go through it all again.

Patrick’s attorney said the loss of his three children is something he “will never recover” from and that there will never be closure. The prospect of another trial, the attorney said, would be “extraordinarily painful” for Patrick and his family.

The jury had spent more than 38 hours deliberating but ultimately failed to reach a unanimous decision.

The result left Lindsay’s case unresolved.

THEN PATRICK WAS SEEN AGAIN

Patrick had largely stayed away from the courtroom after giving emotional testimony during the trial.

He had previously described finding Lindsay outside their Duxbury home on January 24, 2023, after their three children — Cora, 5, Dawson, 3, and Callan, 8 months — were found in the basement.

His testimony became one of the most emotionally significant moments of the trial.

Now, after the mistrial, Patrick has been seen publicly for the first time.

But his life has changed dramatically since that devastating day.

He has remarried, moving forward with his life while Lindsay remains in a psychiatric hospital as the criminal case continues.

THE NEXT LEGAL BATTLE

Patrick’s legal troubles are not limited to the criminal case involving Lindsay.

He is also pursuing legal action against medical providers over the care Lindsay received before the January 2023 tragedy. His attorneys have alleged that inadequate treatment contributed to the circumstances surrounding the case. Those claims remain part of separate civil litigation and have not been established as fact.

At the same time, Patrick’s attorneys say they are preparing to take action against people spreading allegations that Patrick himself was involved in his children’s deaths.

His lawyer Howard Cooper called the accusations “outright falsehoods” and said the campaign had become increasingly destructive, allegedly threatening Patrick’s reputation, livelihood and even his safety.

AND LINDSAY’S CASE IS STILL NOT OVER

The mistrial does not mean Lindsay Clancy has been cleared.

She remains charged, and prosecutors have not yet announced whether they will pursue another trial. A court hearing is scheduled for September 29, when the next steps are expected to become clearer.

If prosecutors do retry the case, Patrick could once again be called to testify.

For a father who has already endured the loss of all three of his children, that possibility carries a devastating cost.

The first trial ended without an answer.

And now Patrick Clancy is facing the possibility that he may have to walk back into that courtroom all over again.
