🚨 NOLAN WELLS UPDATE: A ā€œ4TH BOATā€ QUESTION IS NOW CIRCULATING — AND KATIE’S STORY IS BACK UNDER THE MICROSCOPE

🚨 NOLAN WELLS UPDATE: A ā€œ4TH BOATā€ QUESTION IS NOW CIRCULATING — AND KATIE’S STORY IS BACK UNDER THE MICROSCOPE

The Nolan Wells investigation just got another layer of mystery.

For weeks, attention has focused on the boats that traveled to Horn Island on July 4.

But now a new question is spreading through the case:

WAS THERE ANOTHER BOAT — AND DOES IT CHANGE THE TIMELINE?

And alongside that question, another name keeps coming back:

Katie McCormack.

Nolan Wells, 18, disappeared during a Fourth of July trip to Horn Island, Mississippi.

His body was found in the water two days later.

Authorities have not publicly established exactly how he died.

The independent autopsy commissioned by Nolan’s family listed the cause and manner of death as undetermined pending further investigation.

The official state autopsy has been completed, but its findings have not been released publicly.

That means the timeline surrounding Nolan’s final hours remains one of the most important pieces of the investigation.

And that is where the boats become critical.

GPS records obtained by CBS News tracked the boat that carried Nolan to Horn Island.

It left the dock around 9:56 a.m. and reached Horn Island around 11:14 a.m.

But the boat later left the island at approximately 4:31 p.m.

Nolan was not on board.

The boat returned toward the mainland before making additional movements later that evening.

Investigators have also examined other boats connected to people who were on or around the island.

Records show investigators obtained GPS data from another boat and searched a boat belonging to the family of one of Nolan’s friends.

Authorities also interviewed more than 60 witnesses.

And the FBI became involved in examining digital evidence connected to the investigation.

But here is where the story gets complicated.

Nolan’s friends have said he chose to remain on Horn Island because he was talking to a girl.

That girl was identified as Katie McCormack.

According to reports, however, Katie gave investigators a different account.

She reportedly told police Nolan had indicated that he intended to return with his friends.

Her sister also disputed the version that Nolan had decided to stay behind on the island.

Two different versions.

One missing teenager.

And a timeline that still has unanswered gaps.

Now add the questions surrounding the boats.

If Nolan planned to leave with his friends, why wasn’t he on the boat when it departed?

If he intended to stay behind, what happened afterward?

Who was still on the island?

Which boats were nearby?

And who may have seen Nolan during the critical period after the original boat left?

Those questions do not prove that anyone committed a crime.

They do not prove that Katie was involved in Nolan’s death.

And there is currently no public announcement that Katie McCormack is under arrest or facing charges.

But the conflicting accounts have kept her name at the center of public speculation.

And now, the alleged ā€œfourth boatā€ question is adding another potential piece to a timeline investigators are still trying to reconstruct.

There is another important detail.

Nolan’s family has continued pushing for a deeper examination of the evidence, including his cellphone.

Their attorneys previously requested a coordinated forensic examination of the phone involving experts from both sides, with possible FBI participation.

Meanwhile, investigators have been working through GPS records, phone information, witness interviews and other evidence.

The state’s findings remain sealed pending further legal proceedings and grand-jury review.

So what happened during Nolan’s final hours?

Was his disappearance the result of a tragic accident?

Did something happen after his friends left?

Did another boat play a role in the timeline?

Or is the ā€œfourth boatā€ theory simply another piece of online speculation that will ultimately lead nowhere?

And then there is Katie.

WHAT DID NOLAN TELL HER — AND WHAT DID SHE SEE THAT DAY?

At this point, there is no public evidence establishing that Katie caused Nolan’s death or that she is about to be arrested.

But the conflicting accounts surrounding Nolan’s plans have made her part of one of the biggest unanswered questions in the case.

The FBI is examining digital evidence.

Investigators have collected boat data.

Witnesses have been interviewed.

Nolan’s family is still demanding answers.

And the official cause and manner of death remain unresolved.

The pieces are there.

But they still don’t form a complete picture.

ONE BOAT. ANOTHER BOAT. POSSIBLY MORE.

ONE MISSING TEEN.

AND A FINAL HOUR THAT NO ONE HAS FULLY EXPLAINED.

The question now isn’t simply where Nolan Wells died.

It’s:

WHAT HAPPENED TO HIM BEFORE HE ENTERED THE WATER?
