MISSING 13-YEAR-OLD LILLIA: MOTHER MAKES HEARTBREAKING PLEA AS NEW CCTV SIGHTING EMERGES

MANCHESTER, ENGLAND — The search for 13-year-old Lillia has entered a critical stage after a new CCTV sighting emerged, while her mother continues to make an emotional plea for her daughter to come home.

Lillia has been missing since September 11 after leaving her family home in Bolton.

Police have now confirmed that the latest known sighting of the teenager was at a McDonald’s in Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester, at around 8:20 p.m. on Sunday, September 13.

The new footage has given investigators another important clue as they work to reconstruct Lillia’s movements.

LAST SEEN ON A BUS

Before the McDonald’s sighting, Lillia was seen boarding the 247 bus toward Altrincham at around 1:50 p.m. on September 12 near the Trafford Centre.

Investigators are still trying to establish where she got off the bus and how she traveled afterward.

Greater Manchester Police have been reviewing hours of CCTV footage and are asking members of the public to check their own phone recordings, doorbell cameras and other footage that could show Lillia.

Police are also keeping an open mind about the possibility that she may have traveled outside Greater Manchester.

‘PLEASE COME HOME’

Lillia’s mother, Jessica, previously made an emotional public appeal directly to her daughter.

She told Lillia that she was not in trouble and urged her to return home.

“I’m really, really worried,” Jessica said, adding that the family loved her and simply wanted her to be safe.

Her message came as the search entered its fourth night, with police and family members continuing to appeal for information.

POLICE ASK PUBLIC TO CHECK FOOTAGE

Chief Superintendent Helen Critchley said officers were working through extensive CCTV footage and exploring every possible line of inquiry.

Police are particularly interested in anyone who was in Piccadilly Gardens around 8:20 p.m. on September 13, as well as anyone who may have seen Lillia near the Trafford Centre when she boarded the 247 bus the previous day.

Lillia is described as approximately 5 feet 5 inches tall, with light brown hair and glasses. She was last known to be wearing a black zip-up hooded top, light blue baggy jeans and carrying a black Nike backpack.

Authorities have expanded the investigation across Greater Manchester and said they are also considering the possibility that Lillia could have traveled farther afield.

“Her family just want her home,” police said.

The search remains ongoing, with officers urging anyone who may have information to come forward.
