FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6 — HARRISON’S FINAL BIKE RIDE

FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6 — HARRISON’S FINAL BIKE RIDE
SIX-YEAR-OLD HARRISON GLYNNE JONES WAS RIDING HIS BIKE NEAR HIS HOME WHEN A TRAGIC COLLISION CHANGED HIS FAMILY’S WORLD FOREVER
Harrison Glynne Jones was only six years old.
Just moments before tragedy struck, he had been doing something countless children do every evening — asking his parents if he could go outside for a bike ride.
Instead of another ordinary childhood evening, his family would soon be facing an unimaginable goodbye.
Harrison died after a collision involving a white Ford Transit Tipper in Llanfairfechan, North Wales, on October 1, 2026.
His family are now remembering him as a lively little boy whose personality could light up a room.
A BIKE RIDE THAT ENDED IN TRAGEDY
North Wales Police were called shortly after 5 p.m. on Thursday, October 1, following reports of a collision involving a vehicle and a child on Mill Road in Llanfairfechan, Conwy county.
Emergency services rushed to the scene, but despite their efforts, Harrison was pronounced dead at the scene.
Police later confirmed that the vehicle involved was a white Ford Transit Tipper.
The tragedy happened close to Harrison’s family home.
According to tributes shared by relatives, the six-year-old had asked his parents if he could go out on his bike after dinner.
His final bike ride would last only moments.
“A CHEEKY CHAPPY” WITH A PERSONALITY THAT FILLED A ROOM
For Harrison’s family, the little boy who died in the collision was so much more than a name in a police report.
He was described as a “cheeky chappy”, full of character and blessed with a personality that could light up a room.
A fundraising appeal created to support his parents described the devastation felt by the entire family.
Harrison’s parents, Daryl and Kayleigh Bolton, and his sisters, Sienna, nine, and Eira, 16, have been left trying to comprehend a loss they never could have imagined.
The family said Harrison was loved more deeply than words could express.
HIS FAMILY’S WORLD CHANGED FOREVER
A tribute posted alongside the fundraising appeal said the family’s world had been changed forever after Harrison was struck by a vehicle outside his own home.
The message described the heartbreak facing his parents and sisters as they prepare to say goodbye to their little boy.
“Forever loved, forever missed, forever 6.”
Those words have become a heartbreaking tribute to a child whose life was cut short at just six years old.
A COMMUNITY RALLIES AROUND THE FAMILY
The tragedy has also deeply affected the Llanfairfechan community.
A fundraising campaign was launched to help Harrison’s parents with funeral and memorial expenses, as well as household costs while they take time away from work to grieve.
Within days, the appeal had received hundreds of donations.
More than £23,000 had been raised by October 4, surpassing its original £5,000 target and moving toward a new £30,000 goal.
The response has shown how deeply the little boy’s death has affected people beyond his immediate family.
POLICE APPEAL FOR WITNESSES
North Wales Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit is continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the crash.
A 39-year-old local man who was driving the van was arrested on suspicion of driving offences.
He has since been released under investigation while enquiries continue.
Police have stressed that the investigation remains ongoing and have urged members of the public not to speculate about what happened.
Detective Inspector Tim Evans has appealed to anyone who was in the area around Pen y Bryn Road and Mill Road at approximately 5 p.m. to come forward.
Officers are particularly interested in any private CCTV, doorbell-camera or dashcam footage that may have captured the incident or the moments leading up to it.
Even footage that appears insignificant could potentially help investigators establish what happened.
A FAMILY LEFT WITH QUESTIONS
As the investigation continues, Harrison’s loved ones are facing the hardest part of all — learning how to live without him.
There will be no more evening bike rides.
No more ordinary requests to go outside.
No more moments watching Harrison grow into the person he might have become.
Instead, his parents and sisters are left with memories of the lively six-year-old they loved.
The police investigation may eventually provide answers about the circumstances of the collision.
But no answer can give Harrison’s family back the little boy they lost.
“FOREVER LOVED, FOREVER MISSED, FOREVER 6”
Harrison’s story has touched people across Llanfairfechan and beyond.
He was six years old.
He was full of character.
He was deeply loved.
And for his family, he will always be the little boy whose smile and personality could brighten a room.
As flowers, tributes and donations continue to appear, one message captures the heartbreak of his family better than anything else:
Forever loved.
Forever missed.
Forever 6.
