More than 100 dogs have been rescued from an alleged illegal breeding facility in Pennsylvania after authorities and animal welfare organizations carried out a large-scale operation.

According to officials, investigators entered the property after receiving reports of possible animal neglect and discovered dozens of dogs living in overcrowded and unsanitary conditions. Many of the animals reportedly lacked proper veterinary care and were found in an environment that raised serious concerns about their health and welfare.

The dogs were safely removed from the facility and transported to shelters and rescue organizations, where they are receiving medical examinations, vaccinations, treatment, and behavioral assessments.
