Father of Three Kidnapped and Killed in Chino Hills: California Community Shocked by Tragic Case

A California community is mourning the loss of a father of three who was kidnapped and killed in Chino Hills in a shocking incident that investigators say unfolded after he was taken from his own home and later found dead inside the trunk of a vehicle.

The victim was identified as Shukur Aikebaer, 60, a Chino Hills resident who was remembered by family members as a devoted husband and loving father to three daughters. Loved ones described him as a hardworking man who dedicated his life to providing for his family.

According to the San Bernardino County Sheriff’s Department, deputies responded to reports of gunfire and screaming near Aikebaer’s home. Investigators believe he was shot and kidnapped after coming outside during a suspected power outage. Authorities said the suspects allegedly forced him into the trunk of a vehicle before fleeing the area.

Deputies later located the suspect vehicle and attempted to make a traffic stop. A short pursuit followed before the vehicle came to a stop in a Chino Hills neighborhood. Investigators said one suspect exited the vehicle and fired into the open trunk, where Aikebaer was found suffering from fatal gunshot wounds. Deputies then opened fire, killing the suspect.

Authorities identified the suspects as brothers Zhengfeng Bo, 67, and Jianquan Bo, 66. Investigators said the victim and suspects had a previous business relationship, and detectives are examining whether a dispute connected to their professional dealings played a role in the crime.

A second suspect, Jianquan Bo, was taken into custody and faces charges related to the incident. Officials continue to investigate the motive and are reviewing evidence, including the relationship between those involved and events leading up to the kidnapping.

Aikebaer’s family has spoken publicly about their devastating loss. His daughter said the tragedy has been difficult to understand and described her father as an exceptional parent who was deeply loved by his children. Family members have asked for privacy while they grieve and seek answers.

The case has left residents of Chino Hills stunned, with neighbors expressing disbelief that such a violent crime could occur in their community. Supporters have created memorials and shared messages honoring Aikebaer, remembering him not only as a victim of a horrific crime but as a father whose life centered around his family.

As the investigation continues, authorities say they are working to establish the complete timeline of events and determine the circumstances that led to the kidnapping and killing. For Aikebaer’s family, the focus remains on honoring his memory and supporting his three daughters as they cope with an unimaginable loss.
